SSO Wish List
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community to thrive. On this page you will find various items that you might have in your storage or just don't use much anymore, but which will greatly help us. Thank you for checking it out!
Donations will get a donation receipt from SSO. Please include the estimated value of the donation in dollars. Items will be removed from this list once a donation has been received. Please check back regularly to see as we update this list. Please also check out our page of items we have picked up over the years that we no longer need, but which you might like.
Keurig Coffee Maker. We have used the same Keurig 2.0 little red coffee maker for 4 years, and at a purchase price of $25, it worked great. But sadly, it has finally stopped working. We want to be able to provide coffee in our waiting area and this is the best setup for us.
Torchier lamp for the back of the hallway. As is easy to see when walking in the end of our hallway is always quite dark. A lamp down at the end of the hallway would make that space feel more inviting and warmer. The torchier style lamp is the kind that stands tall on the floor and not one that needs to be on a table.
House plants. The building has a brighter look with greenery and flowers and the more we can get, the better. Help us with a donation of some plants that do well in our level of lighting, and include any watering instructions that might be important.
Larger color printer. Over the years we have used Kinkos and FedEx and Vistaprint to create posters and fliers. Currently we are set up to be able to print fliers and handouts, but we would benefit from having a machine that could print out a few 11x17 posters on a regular basis. We will use this to post around the building about upcoming events as well as in the windows of our mall location. We will still use FedEx to print 2'x3' posters that we use in our sandwich board sign and windows at the mall, but simple 11"x17" posters that we could print more regularly would be helpful.
